Pipe Dreams

Pipe Dreams, Copyright: Lens Reflections (Click on the image and zoom to see the details)

This picture was taken at Laumeier Sculpture Park. This place is a photographer's dream. It has lots of beautiful sculptures, very colorful ones too. If you cannot make it from this picture, the arrangement here, called The Way is made up of 18 salvaged steel oil tanks and is 65 feet tall, 102 feet long, and weighs 50 tons. I have visited this place only once. I want to go back there again because they have new additions to the park every year.

I like the way this shot came out, especially since, all you see in this shot is green, red and blue (maybe a little bit of black)! Hope you like it as much as I did.

For tomorrows post, you are going to see one of my favorite sunset photos! I am sure you will like it..

Thanks for visiting and taking time to comment!

The contrast between red and green here really hits me.The curves of those pipes make is seem so...well...smooth!Great shot, the grass is greener on the other side, the pipes are redder too eh?

Wow! Thats a great structure. I wouldn't want to get near it though, considering its 50 tonnes (imagine that getting disbalanced and falling on you)!

The red colour is so bright and combine well with the blue sky and green surrounding.
