Golden Lake - One last swim

I took this picture at a local lake near our home. It is called Creve Coeur lake. This lake is small but beautiful. Summer time sunsets are gorgeous here. I have a bunch of pictures that I took at this lake. I will post it in the next few days (maybe inbetween other posts). Though this lake has blue waters, the sunset made it golden. This photo is coming straight from the camera, no Picassa touch.. Click on the photo and zoom to see a larger resolution version. Let me know how you like it.

Thanks for all of you who have been visiting regularly. I am in the process of consolidating the 'Links' section. Let me know if it is ok to add you in this section.

I cannot believe that its straight from the camera...you land has beautiful colors...The only critique I can give here is that the duck in at the center of the compostion which is kind of not very good.

What a lovely sunset. It makes me want to put my feet up with a beer. Nice one.

There are 2 things I like about this photo.
Firstly the sun set witch gives the photo a mixture of sadness and hope.
Secondly the position of the duck, witch is exactly in the reflection of the sun set.
I can’t wait for the next photos.
