I would like to say I had to go deep into the woods to get a shot of this beautiful waterfall.. I would also like to say that this place was not easy to reach.. But unfortunately that would be twisting the truth (a lot!).. Anyway, this shot was taken at St.Louis Zoo (so much for being adventurous). This is a beautiful place. This is an artificial (and yet realistic) waterfall. I love this shot because looking at it gives you a feeling that this location is infact deep in the woods! I have not done any post processing on this shot. Let me know if you think that it needs one!

Great shot.I always love waterfall shots because they are so rare. This shade of green in this photo is a really nice shade. However,on viewing a large version I see that the water droplets are a bit blurry,I think your EV wasn't low enough but then by looking at it I would say if you went lower on EV the picture would be too dim so it's not your fault - you made the right choice.Sharpening the image might give the water a clearer definition.Great job!
almost look like real waterfall....nice capture:-)
When I saw the photo I first thought "wow, truly beautiful, where IS this place?" and then I read the info hehe, but again its really nice, looks so real :)
Nice shot, looks like a real waterfall.
It is a perfect recreation, seems that instead of in a zoological east done in a natural place.
nice image, nice scenery, I wish I was there
geez its not real (it looks real)
Cant believe its not real!
Great shot, it doesnt need any post-processing.
This looks absolutely Fab! Some great detail without any blue or haziness! No post processing required at all!
gud one :)
Its a lovely shot. Waterfalls are something I'll never get to see in my neck of the woods.
You could try a much much longer exposure (on a tripod). I think you may like the results :)
I am not so sure, when I looked at this pictur, it seemed like a theme park. I guess a little more greenery and little wider area for the water would have made this more realistic. Artificial or real, you can have the same fun sitting underneth it (if they let you)
Nice waterfalls! From your perspective it really looks like it's somewhere out there deep in the woods.
Great capture!! Have you ever tried to capture a waterfall like this where you, so to speak, freeze the water? Worth trying!!
A great shot AND you didn't have to fight the bugs and the critters! I like how you included a little foreground.
Nice shot, almost real!
Isn't it crazy how they can make things look so real. Great capture.
Have you ever tried one of these with a longer exposure?
Thanks everybody for your comments!
Imran and Jide,
I have not tried shooting waterfall with long exposure. I guess it never occured to me. I surely will try it next time I am near one! Thanks for your advice guys!
Very nice waterfall, I almost can hear the sound of the water.
nice shot. reflects in the comments you have got. did you try clicking at a lower shutter speed. Might the soft effect of water falls. try that some time. Good shots. - tanu
