I was sitting at the airport in Baton Rouge.. my flight was delayed for a couple of hours because of a storm... and then this butterfly comes from nowhere, lands on the glass window in front of me and reminded me that it has free air ticket! I would have loved to "picassa" it, but wanted to post it just like how it came out from my point and shoot camera..
...it seemed like the street light was saying just that to the sun.. I love the colors in this one.. Btw, this is coming straight out of my camera. No editing done..
This old tube was just lying there.. just could not let go of the chance to take this shot! The remains early morning fog around the trees was just gorgeous..
This is my wife and I. This was a beautiful evening. We just could not miss taking this shot. Now, looking at the picture, can you guess who took the shot?
Thanks for the comments on yesterdays post. Have a great weekend!
I shot this picture during one of my road trips to Florida. This building is located in the intersection of two state highways in a little town called Baker. Liked the effect that sunlight was creating on this red building. I did do a little crop and "I am feeling lucky" in Picasa. You can see the original image here. I kept the pedestrian crossing light in the frame because that is what gives it a "stop and see" effect.
Did I do justice by cropping this image? Please share your thoughts!
As always, a BIG "Thank you" for all of you who take your valuable time to visit and comment.
Yet another macro. I posted a different angle below (for perspective). I love this one better because of the color. Also, this angle makes it look huge. If you like this one you will like "Giant in me" that I posted a few days ago. Any comments?
PS: My wife shot the "Take off into sunset" shot from yesterday.
