Stop and See

(click on the image and zoom to view the details)
I shot this picture during one of my road trips to Florida. This building is located in the intersection of two state highways in a little town called Baker. Liked the effect that sunlight was creating on this red building. I did do a little crop and "I am feeling lucky" in Picasa. You can see the original image here. I kept the pedestrian crossing light in the frame because that is what gives it a "stop and see" effect.

Did I do justice by cropping this image? Please share your thoughts!

As always, a BIG "Thank you" for all of you who take your valuable time to visit and comment.

Beautiful lighting and colors. The uncropped version is better as the building is centered in that image.. the wires do not look all that bad ;-)

  5. I like how the sun lightens up the upper half of the building.

  6. The sky color wasn't anything impressive so I like the fact that you cropped it just enough to show the blue of the sky and still keep the hazy sky out of the shot... a very very nice play of shadow and light... and the stop light was a nice thought.. thoughts like those make up for great compositions
