(Click on the image and zoom to see the details) This shot was taken at the Creve Coeur Lake. Many of my sunset shots come from this lake. Eventhough, I have scores of sunset shots taken, this one holds a special spot because it reminds me of a poem called "Paddle your own Canoe". I wonder how refreshing it would have felt to the guy in the canoe after he finished paddling across this lake! It was so refreshing just to see him go across.
This picture is coming straight from the camera. No picassa touch. Thats one more reason why I love it. I feel it is perfect the way it is! Let me know your thoughts!

No Picasa touch,wow,that's one special lake if it gives you amazing shots like this!I always love silhouettes!What really stuns me about this image is the water line.Look at where the black trees begin - the water is a perfect line - stunning.This is a beautiful shot,definately in my favourites.If I don't have a sunrise someday i will link to this if you don't mind :-)

ReplyDeleteI agree, it is perfect as is. Sometimes I think that every shot I take has to be touched in photoshop, but then I'll come up on one and realize, I like it just the way it is. This is a great example.
